Additional information

Of this type, with three horizontal heads in line, 14 are known in public and private collections (De Grunne 2015, 87).

The heads are not ‘monster’ heads as suggested by De Grunne, but spirit figures above stylised aso heads, also with disc-shaped shell inserted eyes.
