Exhibited in Girona, september to november 2007. According to Forth in Douglas, in the Nage villages these statues flanked either side of ritual or cult house of a lineage or local segment of a clan. In bordering Keo area these statues flank the entrance of an uninhabited buildings erected at the seaward end of a village.
