Although the Wereldmuseum in Rotterdam, see under Publications, and Volkenkunde in Leiden have similar hats in their collection, the exact provenance is not known, except for Southeast Kalimantan for the Volkenkunde item. These hats are elaborately worked and served a distinguished person likely, a priest?
