In style this korwar is very akin to the korwars hailing from the southcoast of Biak (for a comparable piece Corbey r.c. fig. 87). For another very comparable piece see 001545. A typical feature is the way the feet are rendered in a curved style, a feature found on korwars hailing from Yapen.
