Ancestor spirit figures from the Lio people, Ende were kept in the attick. A pair of figures is rare. This pair is similar in style and probably by the same hand to the male figure kept at the Barbier-Mueller Museum in Geneva until 2001 and which is now in the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, Paris, inv. nr. 70.2001.27.171. See nr 001623.
