Additional information
Photographs found in the archive of a Dutch dealer. On the back is written that this coffin was found in a Benuaq Dayak area (East-Kalimantan). It should be the grave of a brave warrior who fought the Dutch invaders around 150 years ago. The coffin had two friezes, n one side three times a depection of the same scene, warriors on horseback!, the other side shows two rows of standing warriors and soldiers and in the centre a warrior fallen down his horse. The depiction is enigmatic at least. The coffin as a whole depicts a quadruped with opened muzzle.
