Ascribed in the sale catalogue to Leti, this pole statue is likely to hail from Sermata. The present statue doe not show the original configuration of two branches, one curving upward, the other backward as can be seen in ill. 4.28 (Jonge, de 1995); trunk and pedestal in the present item are later adaptations.

These statues represent a deity from heaven, a great hunter, a brave man; sun and moon are associated with him.
