Additional information

It is difficult to assign this amulet to a specific Dayak group. It has certainly some Upper Mahakam characteristics. Te Wechel in Amiroé  publishes a photo of a wooden ‘doll’ taken in a village along the upper Barito with the same facial features.(ill. 14)
